Creative Music Video
Sep 30, 2008 Music
I heard this song on the radio the other day and I immediately loved it. The video is not so bad either. Quite a blend of sound a visualizations. It’s nice to hear something new on the radio and even nicer to see what the artists come up with for their music videos. Take a peek.

Baseball Enthusiast Website to Launch 10/6
Sep 28, 2008 Interactive Media, Internet, Web Design
Those of you who know me have probably seen my recent trips across town visiting various baseball stadiums. As a internet junkie and an avid baseball fan, I thought that it would be a great idea to promote all of the baseball that the valley has to offer. Why not couple the two things that I enjoy the most. Baseball and technology.
The website will contain information on the Arizona Fall League, Cactus League Spring Training, the Arizona Diamondbacks and some other fun baseball facts and features. I am lining up a list of features for the coming months and since I will be attending games anyhow, there will be much fresh content on the site. There will be some informal game commentaries that should make it fun and interesting. Check back for additional information to be coming soon.

TickTagDo Beta – Task Management Made Simple
Sep 23, 2008 Software Design
This image illustrates the ability to create hPDA Generation from your task lists, among other features. I have been assisting with the beta testing of the product and am excited about its launch. Some additional features include the ability to export and import tasks and a nifty little tag cloud that helps you to visualize the tasks that you have to do.
As a project manager, I can appreciate this tool and would recommend it to anyone to help them to outline their daily tasks. The software is developed in Adobe Air, which makes it operating system agnostic.
Check it out at Godev Software Solutions.

GM Claims No Super Bowl Ads
Sep 22, 2008 Interactive Media, TV Media
In an effort to reduce spending, the automotive giant claims that they do not plan on ad spending for this year’s Big Game. Struggling auto manufacturer General Motors makes advertising cuts that include television and some digital media. In a interesting figure shows that GM has actually increased its online ad spending over the last two marketing years.
Naturally, I have always been a big advocate of online marketing for obvious reasons. Being able to quantify marketing results is huge and many interactive marketing service providers are able to deliver these results to their client. In tough financial times for organizations and individuals, it remains important to get the most “bang for your buck” and interactive marketing certainly lends itself to quality in that regard.

The Live/ Real-time Indexing Search Engine
Sep 19, 2008 Internet
Oggleus is a new addition to the number of search engines that are already out there today. The feature that sets this particular engine apart, is the fact that it indexes in real-time.
Benefit: What this means is that there are no longer links to pages that are cached and no longer live.
Benefit: You can search your “Pond, Lake, Ocean or the Abyss”
Bummer: Since it is live indexing, it takes a little while to gather the results. Especially if you are searching the entire “Abyss”.
I am sure that there is a team of engineers out there working feverishly to make the indexing even faster. In the meantime, there are a number of applications to strategy for this new tool.
