Tips For Beginning Runners – Introduction

1

My running experiences began in High School. I played on the freshman basketball team at Santa Margarita High School in Southern California. During the training we would run the cross-country course and I would strive to beat all of my previous times. My senior year of high school I had lived in Arizona for a year and I ran as I would train for Marine Corps boot camp. I would only run four miles at the most as I trained and ran all throughout my enlistment in the Marines.

I thought that I would share some insight on some running topics that I have come across now that I am running pretty regularly once again. I am by no means a professional runner but I have learned a ton of tips and tricks that can help beginning runners like I once was. I am also not a certified trainer but, I do practice fitness quite regularly. Most of the items that I will be sharing are based on my experiences and I hope that they are helpful to you.
