For a couple years I have withheld from communicating my opinion on Major League Baseball’s decision to deny any type of press or media asset credentials to bloggers. After an informative and revealing meeting held by the Arizona Interactive Marketing Association (AZIMA), I have decided to share some pretty insightful information that I hope is useful to some of the enthusiasts and bloggers out there. In a way, I am glad that I waited this long. To get a better understanding of the challenges that the individual ball clubs face, we need to understand the organization of MLB, it’s clubs and MLB Advanced Media. Keep in mind that how each ball club decides to handle their interactive marketing is up to them and each situation is unique.

So I don’t have a picture of Forrest Gump or insomnia but I do have the later of the two. So, like any web geek would do when they can’t sleep, I decided to check my site analytics. Going through the usual numbers, some impressive and others indifferent, I noticed some heavy traffic on a site that I recently launched. This particular site, I decided to launch as an arm to the main baseball blog that I have been working on. When I originally had the idea, it was to my surprise that azfallball.com was actually available for registration.

However, I have to begin by admitting that I wear another brand while running. For my feet, the other brand has been just more comfortable and supports my feet and my running style more. I have been quite consistent about wearing the other brand when I became more cognizant of the comfort of my feet during trail and distance runs.

If you are like me and you enjoy music and occasionally enjoy the clubbing scene from time to time, then you will dig this. It has been a while since I have been out to a club but, I will go out on occasion with some friends for as great time. There have been times where the set was just unbelievable and I really had wished that I could remember two or more of the songs, hoping to hear them again sometime, or making my way to the DJ booth to ask what the tracks were.
Well, Twitter has done it again. While many skeptics doubt the life-span of such a useful tool, another use case in practical application surfaces in the DJ world. Richie Hawtin, an English-Canadian electronic musician and international DJ, has launched a Twitter application that integrates with a DJ tool by the name of Traktor.

Fittest Tweeter – The Soundtrack
Jun 4, 2009 Interactive Media, Music
For those of my friends and visitors on Twitter, I have recently become involved with a bit of a fitness support group, if you will. I thought that it would be a fun and motivating way to be sure that I made it to the gym. You can learn more about it and its participants at the Fittest Tweeter website created by Twitter All-Star @DigitalRoyalty.
We all have music that motivates us. Charlene Kingston of Crow Information Design wrote a great post on how everyone needs an Anthem/ Theme Song. I thought that I would share some of the songs that help to motivate me at the gym.
