Is it the fact the Bird in Space artist Constantin Brancusi, had passed 52 years ago and could not have possibly been okay with it? Or was it the fact that he was paid such a large sum of money to give it to the city? Don’t get me wrong, I have done my fair share of parody logos (see the site logo) but, have never sought financial reward without either seeking permission or paying for rights. Maybe it will grow on me but, I like to think that I can appreciate art and this doesn’t resonate well with me right now.

In case you can’t tell. I am really having a hard time with this. Check it out. It’s massive.

If you own a similar camera and it goes dark for whatever reason, it will only take pictures of a big black blob and there is nothing but blackness on the screen, do not take it for repair! Or throw it for that matter. Simply hold down the shutter until the screen flashes white. You will notice that the camera will revive itself! Nice! You are ready to take more pictures.

As for the Easter Egg, I found this out but accident. While holding down the “FUNC SET” button, you will notice that you get the time. It is displayed in an animation where the seconds are flipping blocks that appear on the screen.

Okay, so I will admit once again that this might be a feature but, for those of us who take it right out of the box ang begin shooting, I must say that this is pretty cool.
